3 Wise Monkeys - Senopati
Sunday is a family day....
Or at least that's how I try to keep it.
So today, I invited my Mom and Pop to a newly open restaurant in Senopati Area (Mom and Dad Ftw~!). The name's, 3 wise monkeys. It is located just before Crematology (across the road).
If in any case you are looking for something new in Senopati (because Senopati is packed with western and Italian restaurants), then you may want to give this place a visit. The concept of 3 Wise Monkeys is a Japanese fusion restaurant. When I browse through their menu, the foods serve here are very similar to the one that you can find in Sushi Tei, except the portion is smaller and so is the price. They also served cocktails and mocktails.
In my first visit, there are 2 things which are the main drawback for me.
One thing is their menu presentation. They simply print out the menu on a piece of colored paper without even a single picture on the menu. Maybe it is due to the fact they've just opened for 2 months?? Too bad I forgot to take a picture of their epic 'menu book'. Another thing is the number of staff. I am not sure if they are lack of staff or they do not have as many staff during my visit (non busy hour - Sunday afternoon). Nevertheless, I still felt that it's hard to call the waiter's attention even though there weren't as many customers during my visit.
Anyhow, let's start with our main objective here, food's review.
'Aburi Salmon Cheese Roll' (IDR 55,000)
Sushi roll with Salmon, Parmesan Cheese, Cream Cheese, Mayo, Seawed
Or at least that's how I try to keep it.

Sushi roll with Salmon, Parmesan Cheese, Cream Cheese, Mayo, Seawed
'Double sensation Roll' (IDR IDR 60,000)
Ebi furai, Salmon Skin, Tamago, Tobiko, Vegetable, Kani, Mayo *Woott Woot!!* Dish of the day*!!
Ebi furai, Salmon Skin, Tamago, Tobiko, Vegetable, Kani, Mayo *Woott Woot!!* Dish of the day*!!
'3 Wise Monkeys Special Roll' (IDR 72,000)
Salmon Roll with special ingredients (to be honest, can't really find anything special in the filling) but this sushi roll is served with Mayo on top which kinda ruin the overall taste of the sushi roll because mayo taste is just too strong.
'Grilled Salmon' (IDR 79,000)
3 pieces of grilled salmon glazed with home made ponzu sauce and served wth salad on side.
*My mom's favorite and must order dish in every Japanese restaurant she went to - Sorry for being OOT but I just can't help myself not to make this comment*
And that's it for the review. Hope you guys enjoy it.
Happy Eating people!! :)
